① 家蚕病理学与病害控制:主要研究家蚕病原微生物对家蚕的致病机理、传染性蚕病和环境污染等非传染性危害发生和流行规律、蚕业消毒和病害防除药物的作用机制,以及安全养蚕综合防治技术的研究。
② 病原微生物的基因功能:比较不同株系微孢子虫、病毒和细菌等病原微生物各种蛋白质和核酸等的差异,分析致病因素和分子机理,解明基因功能和作用机制。
③ 微生物资源利用:主要研究有用微生物的生态分布、生物学功能和大规模培养技术,以及生物防治微生物资源研究等。
